NAVRRA Competition Series and Eligible Events 2009
Rally Series Rally Series A: Serie Grand Ronde / Grand Ronde Series
Series Requirements: Entrants must enter a minimum of four series-eligible rally events, one of which must be from a different region from the rest (events in Washington, Oregon, B.C. or other regions are eligible). One event may be a pavement event and the rest must be gravel events.
Series Scoring
The best four scores are scored for each series entrant. Ties between competitors will be decided by scoring best event placings in additional eligible events.
Rally Series B, Serie Cup de Cascade / Cascade Cup Series
Series Requirements: Entrants must enter a minimum of three series-eligible rally events, one of which must be in a different region from the rest (events in Washington, Oregon, B.C. or other regions). Entrants must participate in a minimum of two series-eligible rallycross events. One of the rally events may be a pavement event, the rest must be gravel events.
Series Scoring
The best finish placing of three out of all eligible rally events are scored plus the best finish placing of two rallycross events out of all eligible rallycross events. Ties between competitors will be decided by scoring event placings in additional series eligible events, with rally event scores taking precedence.
Score Weighting
Rallycross score weighting is 25% of total for series. Series points are scored as below (see Scoring)
Note: Participation in Both Rally Series
Enough events exist to allow a team or competitor to participate in both series with different vehicles. However, event scores from single events can only be applied in one series. However, in the case of a tie, event scores from the alternate series event will be used to determine the final winner.
The Vintage Hot Mud'n'Exhaust Cup -- Historic Rallycross Series
Requirements: Entrants must enter three/four */1 Rallycross/Hillclimb events, one of which must be in a different region from the rest (Washington, Oregon, B.C. or other). Entrants may substitute one hillclimb event for participation in one rallycross event.
The Vintage Hot Mud'n'Exhaust Cup Scoring
The best three out of four eligible rallycross/hillclimb events are scored. */1 */1 The 2009 rallycross schedule is in flux in some regions; if more than 6 events are held in the region (Oregon, Washington, B.C.) then the best placing out of four will be scored for 2009. If less than six eligible events are held, then the best placing out of three events will be scored for the 2009 season.
The Over-the-Hill Cup -- Historic Hillclimb Series
Requirements: Entrants must enter a minimum of three hillclimb events, one of which must be in a different region from the rest (Washington, Oregon, B.C. or other). Entrants may substitute one rallycross event for participation in one hill climb.
The Over-the-Hill Cup Series Scoring
The best three eligible hillclimb/rallycross events are scored.
